Employers have the responsibility to
comply with 29 CFR 1910.178 in order to ensure the safe operation of
powered industrial trucks at their facility. The California

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has revised
requirements for powered industrial truck operator training (codified
at 29 CFR 1910.178(l)) and they have issued new requirements to improve
the training of these operators.

General Industrial Safety Order 3664-Operating rules indicates that every employer using industrial trucks shall post and enforce a set of operating rules, including the appropriate rules listed in Section 3650. This poster complies with the Operating Rules for Industrial Trucks to meet this regulation for the State of California.
