Law." The notice must be posted prominently, where it can be readily
seen by employees and applicants for employment.
Your Rights Under The Family and Medical Leave Act: Every
employer covered by the FMLA is required to post and keep posted on its
premises, in conspicuous places where employees are employed, whether
or not it has any "eligible" employees, a notice explaining the Act's

Employee Polygraph Protection Act: Under
the Act, the Secretary of Labor is directed to distribute a notice of
the Act's protections, to issue rules and regulations, and to enforce
the provisions of the Act. The Act empowers the Secretary of Labor to
bring injunctive actions in U.S. district courts to restrain violations,
and to assess civil money penalties up to $10,000 against employers who
violate any provision of the Act. Employers are required to post
notices summarizing the protections of the Act in their places of work.
Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA): GINA
is a law passed by congress to prohibit use of genetic information used
by employers for discrimination purposes. This legislation also ban
employers from using genetic information when making a decision to hire
employees, job promotions, or firing. This act gives protection from
genetic discrimination as genetic information technology continues to
advance in the future of biomedical research.
E-Verify: E-Verify is an Internet-based system that allows an
employer, using information reported on an employee's Form I-9,
Employment Eligibility Verification, to determine the eligibility of
