Every employer subject to the Fair
Labor Standards Act's minimum wage provision must post, and keep
posted, a notice explaining the Fair Labor Standards Act in a
conspicuous place in all of their establishments frequented by
employees. Companies can be fined $1,100 per violation if the
employer willfully or repeatedly violate the minimum wage or overtime
pay provisions.
Civil money penalties of up to $11,000 per violation may be assessed
against employers who violate the youth employment provisions of the
law. This poster will inform employers and employees of the Federal
youth employment law, tip credit law, and overtime pay to avoid any
unnecessary penalties.
