Who is exempt from the NLRA Notice?Most
private employers are required to post the NLRA Poster. The law
specifically excludes public sector employees, agricultural and
domestic workers, independent contractors, workers employed by a parent
or spouse, and employees of air and rail carriers covered by the
Railway Labor Act.

Kansas state minimum wage is $7.25 per hour. State law requires overtime after 46 hours per week. The Federal minimum wage law requires that most employees be paid at least $7.25 per hour effective July 24, 2009 and overtime after 40 hours per week. It is a violation of Kansas law to employ or permit any child under 18 years of age in any vocation which has been declared by Rule or Regulation of the Secretary of Labor to be dangerous or injurious to the life, health, morals or welfare of a minor.*
